Tulle, Trulle, Mulle and the Humans is a fairy tale story for children aged 5-11.

This book is so much inner child work for me and I have a bubbly feeling in my tummy when I think of it. The work of the illustrator Nina Flatnes Bratbak is simply wonderful and it takes the book to a whole new level. The stories about these three troll girls go many years back to when our two daughters were little girls. Tulle, Trulle and Mulle popped up in my mind one night at bed time and from then on my daughters wanted to hear a new story about these three troll girls every night before bed time. 18-20 years passed when the stories suddendly re-appeared in my mind. This was one night when I was putting my nephew and niece to bed, and encouraged by my mum and the rest of my family, I started writing the book, which has eight little stories in it.

Summary of Tulle, Trulle, Mulle and the Humans.
 
Tulle, Trulle and Mulle are three troll girls who can make themselves invisible by touching the great Mr. Invisibility Stone at the edge of the forest while saying some magical words. This means that they can mix with people without anyone seeing them, and when they discover that some humans are not always nice to one another, they decide to help them a little. Now, this might not be what most people think of as help, but sometimes things have to get worse before they get better. This is what happens to some of the humans in the village just outside the troll forest. When Tulle, Trulle and Mulle are invisible, they can make strange things happen, and they can also make all kinds of funny voices. Now, mysterious things begin to happen to the people in the village: The skeleton at the school comes to life; A grumpy daddy gets a clown’s nose; A chocolate gets very upset because it was stolen; A piece of litter has a serious talk with the litterbug; Angry snowballs fly through the air all by themselves; A kitchen comes to life to help a mum who spends all her time cleaning. Finally, we hear about all the packages that disappear on X-mas Eve.
